About Me
I've spent my life
studying performance.
Then I built for it.
Two-time JC All-American. Division I athlete. Three degrees in kinesiology. Founder of a WordPress agency and a coaching platform built for fitness professionals.

Chapter One
The field taught me
how competition works.
It started at Spokane Falls Community College, where I competed in track and field and earned two-time JC All-American honors in the hammer throw. That led to a scholarship to Eastern Washington University, where I competed as a Division I athlete while pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science.
Competing at that level taught me things no classroom could. How to train deliberately. How to recover intelligently. How to perform under pressure. It also gave me a question that stuck: why did some athletes improve faster than others with identical training?
Chapter Two
The lab gave me
the language for it.
The B.S. in Exercise Science from Eastern Washington University came first, then years of applied work coaching athletes across Kuwait, including strength and conditioning roles at The Burrow, Elite Fitness, and management at Platinum Health Clubs. The classroom and the gym floor informed each other constantly.
I returned to Concordia University, St. Paul for a Master of Science in Kinesiology and Exercise Science, completing it in 2022. The Doctorate followed from 2023 to 2025, culminating in a randomized controlled trial on exercise order and range of motion within a DUP training protocol.
Chapter Three
The products are where
both chapters meet.
In 2021 I founded both Nahnu Fitness and Nahnu Media, combining years of coaching experience across Kuwait with a growing fluency in web technology. Nahnu Media became a full WordPress agency, and the plugin portfolio that grew out of it now spans performance tools, consent systems, media managers, and more.
In December 2024, Liaqa launched from Dubai as a dedicated coaching management platform for personal trainers and gym owners. It is the most direct expression of everything that came before: a product built by someone who has studied coaching at the doctoral level and spent years on the gym floor doing it.

The Effect of Exercise Order and Range of Motion on Gluteal Muscular Strength in a DUP Protocol
A 12-week randomized controlled trial comparing two exercise sequences within a Daily Undulating Periodization framework. One group began each session with the hip thrust (limited ROM, glute-shortening). The other began with the MC Reverse Lunge (extended ROM, glute-lengthening). Both groups made significant strength and hypertrophy gains, but the order in which exercises were performed produced meaningfully different outcomes in localized muscle growth.
The MC-first group (extended ROM, glute-lengthening) showed significantly greater hip (+1.88 cm) and thigh (+3.85 cm) circumference gains, suggesting prioritizing lengthened ROM may enhance localized gluteal hypertrophy.
The Hip Thrust-first group showed significant thigh circumference gains (+2.16 cm) and greater average strength improvement in the MC Reverse Lunge (121.86%), even when the exercise was performed second.
Both groups made substantial full-body strength gains across all lifts, confirming that DUP is effective regardless of exercise order while sequencing influences where hypertrophic adaptation concentrates.
Hip Thrust for Strength and Muscle Gains: Single-Legged vs. Two-Legged Stance
An investigation into whether unilateral hip thrust produces meaningfully different strength and hypertrophy outcomes compared to the bilateral variation. The research compared both stances across trained individuals under controlled volume and intensity, contributing to the growing body of evidence on hip thrust programming for gluteal development.
Controlled comparison of single-leg and two-leg hip thrust across trained participants with matched volume and intensity protocols.
Strength and hypertrophy outcomes measured across both variations to identify which produces superior gluteal development and under what conditions.
Practical guidance for strength coaches and personal trainers programming lower body work for athletic and general populations.
How I Work
The philosophy
behind the products
Build on WordPress
WordPress powers over 40% of the web for good reason. It scales, it extends, and it puts control in the hands of the site owner. My agency and plugin work lives here, built to PHP 8.1+ with modern practices throughout.
Deploy on Bunny
Bunny.net is the primary CDN and infrastructure layer across all my properties. Edge delivery, storage, and DNS in one place. Fast by default, not as an afterthought.
Code That Holds Up
Clean, predictable, auditable code is the standard. Code should still make sense in three years, not just get the job done today. That applies to every plugin in the portfolio.
Privacy by Default
I built WP Smart Consent because cookie compliance tools were either too clunky or too opaque. Every product I ship treats user privacy as a feature, not a legal checkbox bolted on at the end.
Ship and Iterate
The exercise science background trains you to test hypotheses, not fall in love with them. I build v1 to learn, then improve. Every plugin in the portfolio started smaller than what it is now.
Domain Expertise First
Fitness technology built by someone who has an EdD in Kinesiology and has coached athletes. The products are sharper because I understand the problem before I write any code.
